These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Basis (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Early access

The Service is offered as a limited early-access preview. It is provided free of charge during this period, may change or be discontinued at any time, and may contain errors or incomplete data. We may add, modify, or introduce paid features in the future.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure.

3. Not financial advice

Basis is an analytics and reporting tool. It is not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, or financial planner, and nothing in the Service constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice or a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security. 4. Brokerage connections

Brokerage connections are established through a third-party connectivity provider and are read-only. Basis cannot place trades, transfer funds, or otherwise transact in your brokerage account. We are not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or availability of data supplied by your broker or by third-party providers.

5. Acceptable use

• Do not use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Do not attempt to access another user’s data, disrupt the Service, or circumvent its security.
• Do not reverse engineer, resell, or republish the Service or its data except as permitted.

6. Your data

You retain ownership of your data. You grant us the rights necessary to process and display it in order to provide the Service. Our handling of your data is described in our Privacy Policy.

7. No warranty

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service or its data will be uninterrupted, error-free, or accurate.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Basis and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any trading or investment losses, lost profits, or loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at our discretion, including for violation of these Terms.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
